I am a prettifier for the console in node.js.

OK Cool. So what can you do?

Pretty basic stuff really. I prepend some useful information to your console (at the moment, date, time, long or short call paths and line numbers)

Awesome! I wants! How do I install this magical piece of functionality?

Simple:

Via NPM:

npm install flox-node

var flox = require('flox-node')({});

Manually: Copy the whole directory structure above to wherever you serve your node plugins from.

var flox = require('flox-node')({});

Config options are simple:

format: 'DD/MM/YYYY', 'MM/DD/YYYY' or 'YYYY/MM/DD' - /*as string*/
longfiles: true/false  - /*whether the pathname output is shortened or not*/
debug: true/false - /*whether to show filenames at all*/

Used in the following manner:

var flox = require('flox-node')({
    'format': 'DD/MM/YYYY',
    'longfiles': true,
    'debug': true
});
