gmid

Creates an overcomplicated none standard unique ID.

Installation

npm install gmid

Documentation

gmid is a function there returns a 52 digest unique hex string.

  • 32 digest is the computer name os.hostname().
  • 6 digest is the pid.
  • 8 digest is random, but only updates when the increasement counter resets.
  • 6 digest is an increasement counter.
