Simply copy node_modules from git to project node_modules folder

This grunt plugin is to support installing private node_modules where you can not add a node module to the npm neither on github. But somewhere which supports git (for example : assembla.com)

This plugin requires Grunt

If you haven't used Grunt before, be sure to check out the Getting Started guide, as it explains how to create a Gruntfile as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:

npm install grunt-git-to-nodemodules --save-dev

Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:

grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-git-to-nodemodules');

If it says grunt-git-to-nodemodules not installed.

replace

 grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-git-to-nodemodules');

with

 grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-git-to-nodemodules');

In your project's Gruntfile, add a section named gitToNodeModules to the data object passed into grunt.initConfig().

Type: String Value: Your desired git location (whatever you can get using git clone) Example: 'git@github.com:thebapi/connect-mongo-session-store.git'

Type: String Value: Your desired node_module directory + module folder name Example: 'node_modules/connect-mongo-session-store'

Type: String Value: Git branch name Default: master Example: 'master'
