A Hubot script using the Twitter streaming API to be notified on defined hashtags.

Install

  • Clone this repository
  • Clone or download Hubot
  • Add ntwitter and underscore dependencies in Hubot as defined in the documentation : Add to package.json then run 'npm install'
  • Create an application on https://dev.twitter.com and set your tokens in 'twitterstream.js'
  • Copy twitterstream.js into your hubot/scripts folder

Usage

As defined in the twitterstream.js header you can:

Subscribe to hashtags (launch command multiple times for multiple tags):

hubot twitterstream watch github

List hashtags you subscribed to:

hubot twitterstream list

Clear subscriptions:

hubot twitterstream list

Note: There are some stacktraces due to exception comming from the ntwitter library when creating multiple subscriptions but all is still working fine.
