A Hubot script using the Twitter streaming API to be notified on defined hashtags.
- Clone this repository
- Clone or download Hubot
- Add ntwitter and underscore dependencies in Hubot as defined in the documentation : Add to package.json then run 'npm install'
- Create an application on https://dev.twitter.com and set your tokens in 'twitterstream.js'
- Copy twitterstream.js into your hubot/scripts folder
As defined in the twitterstream.js header you can:
Subscribe to hashtags (launch command multiple times for multiple tags):
hubot twitterstream watch github
List hashtags you subscribed to:
hubot twitterstream list
Clear subscriptions:
hubot twitterstream list
Note: There are some stacktraces due to exception comming from the ntwitter library when creating multiple subscriptions but all is still working fine.
