answer-fields

A set of react components to render form responses.

Installation

npm install @jotforminc/answer-fields --save

Since this is a private npm module, you need to log in before running this command.

If you don't know the npm credentials you can simply add it as a dependency to package.json of your project.

The RDS environment should have necessary credentials. Please open an issue if you are unable to install.

Development

Development in dependent projects

"answer-fields" should be linked in your dependent projects to enable development without releasing a new version. The steps below will create a symlink in node_modules folder of the dependent project to RDS copy of "answer-fields".

Note: This steps can be automated via runDevServer scripts.

• Clone this repo to your local and sync to RDS. Make sure that your sftp-config.json is configured.

cd answer-fields && ./syncAll

• SSH to RDS and install dependencies, link, and run answer-fields

cd /www/answer-fields/{username}
nvm use && npm i && npm link
npm run build:lib:watch

• SSH to RDS with another terminal, go to dependent project, link answer-fields. Then run your project as usual.

cd /www/{project-name}/{username}
npm link "@jotforminc/answer-fields"
./runDevServer
