Dependencies

The only hard dependency for running mgmt is node.

For reports the basic stats from mgmt-git you'll also need git.

Some of the more specific reports may have additional dependencies.

Installation

$ npm install -g mgmt

Quick Start

To create your own mgmt instance, run mgmt --create <PATH>.

$ mgmt --create /path/to/mgmt-install
$ cd /path/to/mgmt-install
$ ./bin/mgmt --port 9001 /path/to/repo-base

If you need help, run:

$ mgmt -h

Note: You can easily run mgmt on your local machine. However, you may also want to set it up on a central server to generate reports for your team's shared repositories. More on this in the "Additional Setup" section.
