needs-release

Simple command-line tool to help keep your releases up-to-date.

Installation

$ npm install stephenmathieson/needs-release

Usage

  Usage: needs-release [options] <slug ...>

  Options:

    -h, --help                 output usage information
    -V, --version              output the version number
    -n, --commits [n]          number of commits
    -u, --username [username]  GitHub username
    -p, --password [password]  GitHub password

  Examples:

    # auth via command line
    $ needs-release -u myusername -p mypassword someuser/repo

    # use ~/.netrc when possible
    $ needs-release someuser/repo1 someuser/repo2

    # brace expansion ftw :)
    $ needs-release someuser/{repo1,repo2}
