node-simplehttpserver

You could install it from npm:

npm install node-simplehttpserver -g

And then you could start a static file http server like this:

node-simplehttpserver your_dir listen_port
node-simplehttpserver /user/my_test_dir/ 8080

Default listen port is 8000.
