NPM Boilerplate 
A good starting point for your new Node.js NPM packages.
Create a new package
$ git clone git@github.com:sdeering/npm-boilerplate.git$ mv npm-boilerplate <your-npm-package-name>$ cd <your-npm-package-name>
Then change the following fields below to adhere to NPM package rules.
NPM Policies
- Update
package.json: name, version, description, keywords, homepage, author, repository, main, licenses.
Read more about package.json fields.
Customise
Some things you might want to change/update.
- Change Node.js versions for test in
.travis.yml. - Change
LICENCE. - Change
README.
Example Usage
var ModuleName = require('your-npm-package-name'); //or npm package name
console.log(ModuleName.functionName());
TEST
Testing is provided by MOCHA.
Either run in bash $ npm test or the full command $ ./node_modules/.bin/mocha --reporter spec.
