Checks the status of the git directory, delegates to cloneGitRemote or archiveGitRemote

.cloneGitRemote(opts, log, archiveGitRem, cb)

Runs a git clone, delegates to archiveGitRemote

.archiveGitRemote(opts, log, cb)

Creates a tarball from the git repo, then calls a callback
