redis-mass

Node.js package to encode a sequence of Redis commands into Redis protocol, suitable for mass insertion.

Installation

Via git (or downloaded tarball):

$ git clone git://github.com/almeida/redis-mass.git

Via npm:

$ npm install -g redis-mass

Usage

Mass insertion on Redis

$ redis-mass /path/to/input-file | redis-cli --pipe

Output to console

$ redis-mass /path/to/input-file

Output to file

$ redis-mass /path/to/input-file /path/to/output-file

Running tests

It uses mocha, so just run following command in package directory:

$ npm test

Requirements

• Node.js - Event-driven I/O server-side JavaScript environment based on V8.
• npm - Package manager. Installs, publishes and manages node programs.

Dependencies

• None.

Development dependencies

• mocha - Simple, flexible, fun javascript test framework for Node.js.
