vhosts-conf
Update your vhosts and hosts files faster so you can spin up a dev environment like http://mydevsandbox.
Assumes you're using system apache with paths for your virtual hosts configuration and hosts configuration at
'/private/etc/apache2/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf' and '/private/etc/hosts', respectively.
This package should be installed with the -g option (npm install -g) since it needs to hang out in your $PATH. Also, since it's modifying files in your root and then restarting your apache when it's done, it's probably (read: definitely) going to need to be run as root/sudo.
Usage:
cdto directory you want to setup a virtual host for.- Run
sudo vhosts. - Open browser and type
http://hostnamewhere "hostname" is what you specified to the prompt. - Profit
