extractif

Extract EXIF data using exif from libexif.

This module expects that exif from libexif is present on your system.

Example

var extractif = require('extractif');
 
extractif('test//img/hasselblad.jpg', function (err, tags) {
  console.log(tags);
});

extractif(file, cb)

Extract EXIF data from a file. The callback gets two arguments (err, tags) where tags is a plain object of EXIF tags. If the file has no EXIF data tags will be null.

Installation

Install the NPM module:

npm install extractif

Install exif with your platform's native package manager:

apt-get install exif
yum install exif
emerge exif
brew install exif
